SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police are looking for the robber or robbers who knocked a woman to the ground and stole her purse in broad daylight.
The incident happened in Old Sacramento just after 5 p.m. on Sunday in front of the Firehouse restaurant.
Witnesses say they saw blood on the back of the woman’s head after the attack.
“This is a family-friendly area. Go and find a job or fill out a resume before you decide to hurt somebody in order for your own benefit,” said Atique Rahman, Firehouse dining room manager.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
